The Latest from Everette Morgan...

Tomorrow's Past: Sequoyah

The Tomorrow's Past Series continues with the sixth installment, “Tomorrow's Past: Sequoyah”.Book #6 of the Tomorrow's Past series, Sequoyah takes up where Shenandoah left off. Having escaped several times with the help of Jocelyn, his humanistic computer control center at Haven, Marcus is now faced with the possibility of working without her. Something serious has happened at Haven and Marcus has lost all contact with his home and the people there. The weather is warming, dinosaurs are on the move, and Marcus is racing home to find out what has happened. The events that will unfold will forever change their lives as they struggle to survive in this post-apocalyptic world.

Reviews from: Tomorrow's Past: The Reunion (Kindle Edition)

This latest installment of this series was action packed and moved the plot forward quite a bit. We follow up from the last episode when our youthful hero hears an unexpected message, letting him know his sister is still alive. I enjoyed the daring rescue and the additional characters added but I puzzled why Marcus has not done more in the past to eliminate the Jackal threat. Oh, well, he is still just a kid and the last two episodes have seen him cut quite a hole in the Jackals' numbers. This reminds me of episodic television, and this is good entertainment.  4 Stars

Jocelyn continues to direct "traffic" so Marcus can go and retrieve his sister, Kim, and a small group she is traveling with in the Smoky Mountains. The dinosaurs are increasing in number and Marcus thinks it is due to migration into a warmer climate. A group called "The Jackals" is on the prowl and they are only concerned with evil and destruction. Which is worse, the dinosaurs or "The Jackals"?

I like this series and Thanksgiving dinner is filled with fine foods and excellent company. News at the end of this one concerns David, brother of Marcus. Could he possibly be alive after this length of time?

Highly recommended.
